This event is geared towards those members that own a "Digital Single Lens Reflex" camera i.e NOT Point & Shoot Cameras (if you have a camera that allows you to take the lens off / change lenses, chances are it is a DSLR "Digital Single Lens Reflex" camera) and this event is for you. Don't despair I will be doing an event for you folks with Point & Shoot cameras again in the future. Once you have registered you will go on the waiting list. I will email you requesting the name and model of your camera i.e. "Canon EOS 5D Mark III." and you will be moved off the waiting list providing your camera is a DSLR.

The object of this event is to increase your confidence with your camera, learn a little about light, some tricks on how to get better results, seeing with a "photographic eye," simple understanding of the controls and most importantly how to have fun and get great results with your camera.

We'll meet in the program room inside the Riverbend Branch of the Edmonton Public Library

Please arrive between 6:30 & 6:40 p.m. as the workshop will begin promptly at 6:45 p.m.

I'll have the yellow EOC ball cap in the window of the program room to help you spot me. You can also check out my picture in the volunteer sction.
