Itinerary:
Dinosaur Provincial Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located about two and a half hours drive southeast of Calgary, or 48 km northeast of Brooks.

The park is situated in the valley of the Red Deer River, which is noted for its striking badland topography, and is well known for being one of the richest dinosaur fossil locales in the world.
Forty dinosaur species have been discovered at the park and more than 500 specimens have been removed and exhibited in museums across the globe.
The renowned fossil assemblage of nearly 500 species of life, from microscopic fern spores to large carnivorous dinosaurs, justified it becoming a World Heritage Site in 1979.

So as you can see from the description above, and the photos in the link below, this is a special place and it's time for the EOC to visit it!

There are a number of guided excursions within the park, and these mainly cover areas which cannot be accessed by the general public.
Although it is possible to visit the park "on the cheap" by not doing the paid excursions, you will miss out on a lot of unique sights.

The following link shows the excursions available for booking:
Dinosaur PP excursions

I have already signed up on the following:
Saturday 28th July: 0900-1600 - Deadlodge Canyon Expedition ($74.00)
Saturday 28th July: 1900-2100 - Sunset Tour ($24.00)
Sunday 29th July: 0930-1330 - Great Badlands Hike ($24.00)
Sunday 29th July: 1400-1600 - Explorer's Bus Tour ($12.00)

Although it would be great to have you all attend every one of these excursions with me, I realise that some people may wish to do a smaller number, and/or some of the other excursions available (see the earlier weblink above).
However, we will still have some time to explore the publicly-accessible parts of the park as an EOC group, and experience the park together.

Therefore, please sign up for the excursion(s) of your choice as soon as possible - in fact you can even do this before the event opens for registration.
Some excursions do not have large groups, so the sooner you sign up the better!

TRANSPORT:
Dinosaur PP is approx 6 to 7 hours drive from Edmonton, so take that into account.
I would suggest that you will need to take at least the Friday afternoon off, to get to Dinosaur PP by Friday evening.
I am not arranging a formal carpool. However, if you are without the use of a car, please let me know and I can try to help with an "unofficial" carpool or rideshare.

ACCOMODATION:
Once we have sorted out the attendees for the event, I will then look into accomodation options.
My thinking at present is that we will camp at the campsite at Dinosaur PP - see the link below:
Dinosaur PP campground
However this will be finalized in due course once the signups have been confirmed.

IN ORDER TO ATTEND THIS EVENT, PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING:
1/ Review the available excursions at Dinosaur PP, and sign up asap for the ones you wish to attend. You can do this even before the EOC event opens for bookings.
