Itinerary:

As Monty Python used to say: "and now for something completely different".

We are going to go for breakfast first, then do a nice hike to walk off the breakfast!

Breakfast will be at 9:00am at Fresh Start Bistro, the address is as follows:
Fresh Start Bistro
Riverbend Square NW
Edmonton, AB T6R 2E3
Fresh Start Bistro website

After breakfast we will make our way to Terwillegar Park for 10:15am, to check out the trails.
Please note that this will be a MODERATE PACED walk. The difficulty rating is easy to moderate (meaning the distance which will be ~10-12km & terrain).

There are trails winding through the entire park on the south side of the North Saskatchewan River.
Some trails in the park are wide and well trodden, and others are more narrow and uneven.
Parts of the hike will require some up and downhill as well. But it's well worth it to reach some of the scenic points of the park overlooking the river.
We will head towards but not all the way to the Anthony Henday Drive overpass which is located south of the park.

Dogs are permitted on this hike, indeed there is a large off-leash area at Terwillegar Park, so Fido and his friends can have a good run around too!
Unfortunately, no doggies allowed inside Fresh Start Bistro though.

If you sign up for this event, it will be assumed you are coming for both the breakfast and the hike.
We will need to have confirmed numbers for the breakfast, to let Fresh Start Bistro know of how many people to expect.

However, if you can only come for the hike, please advise of this in the "notes" section when you sign up.
For the hike we will meet up at the parking lot for 10:15am.
