Itinerary:
Edmonton is truly festival city! This time of year, it is the Edmonton Street Performer's Festival, presented once again at Sir Winston Churchill Square.

Street performers from all over the world come to this premiere event to do what they love. Performances go till 11PM.

As it will be a bit of a zoo, we will meet at the base of the City Hall clock tower. It's 200ft tall so you won't miss it. Interestingly (from city website): The clock tower in front of City Hall is called the Friendship Tower. It stands over 200 feet tall, has 23 bells and can play 99 different songs.

Of course, parking will be very limited and I highly recommend using the LRT if you can. It'll take you straight to City Hall and Churchill Square.

All shows are 'pass the hat' for payment. Please do bring loonies and toonies and small bills to pay the performers as this is how they are able to sustain their art.

Required Items to Bring:
Money for performers, drinks, snacks.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Camera
Water
Hat, shades

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Sir Winston Churchill Square is located between the City Hall and the downtown Library. As it will be a bit of a zoo, we will meet at the base of the City Hall clock tower. The clock tower is located on 99th Street (Rue Hull), between 102A and 103A ave.

Please see MA P

Parking will be very tough and I recommend taking the LRT. The Churchill station will take you directly there.
