Itinerary:
Terwillegar park is a sweet slice of nature in the concrete jungle. The park is a favorite of dog owners as it is an off-leash park (so BYOD). The park is also great for the mountain biking trails winding through the entire park and to the south coast of the North Sask. River. We'll be taking some of these trails which turn out to be great hiking in the winter time.

Some trails in the park are wide and well trodden. Others are more narrow and uneven. Parts of the hike will require some up and downhill as well. But it's well worth it to reach some of the scenic points of the park overlooking the river.

There are also several geocaches in the park that we can go after if the group is ambitious enough to dig through the snow.

Julie and Jason will be waiting near the outhouse and park sign at the western end of the parking lot. Check out Julie's photo here. Check out Jason in the following group photo from a previous event. Jason is the guy in the green jacket at the right side of the photo.
