Beginners Snowshoeing at Rundle Park (1/23/2011)

Itinerary:

This beginners snowshoeing event will be easy paced.

We will start from the A.C.T. Aquatic & Recreation Centre at Rundle Park - leaving at 11:15am sharp! We will head towards Hermitage Park South & head back to the cars. If we make it all the way to Hermitage Park North, it is about 13.5 km - we'll play it by ear!

Required Items to Bring:
- SNOWSHOES - you can rent them from MEC or Totem Outfitters
- good hiking boots/snow boots to fit your snowshoes (if you wear hiking boots, remember to either wear snowpants or gaitors)
- water
- snack
- dress in layers
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:I will meet you outside the front doors of the A.C.T. center (I will have my yellow EOC hat on). The address is: 2909 - 113th Avenue
