Itinerary:
Shakespeare in the Park is back for another season! The plays are presented with a modern twist. For this night, we're going to see a classic: Macbeth! Macbeth (a.k.a. "The Scottish Play") is a tale of ambition, bloodlust, guilt, and the supernatural. As is usually the case with the Shakespeare In The Park festival, plays are presented in a modern setting. In the case of Macbeth, we will be transported to eastern Europe during the Cold War era.

For more information, go to the Freewill Shakespeare Festival website.

Tickets are available in advance from Tix on the Square, or you can buy them at the park. Single admission adult tickets cost $22.50, although passes for both shows during the festival can also be purchased for $35. Since this show is on a Sunday, anyone with a valid student ID might be able to get in for free!

You are responsible for your own ticket, and tickets are issued on a first come first served basis. Even if you purchase tickets in advance, these tickets are not for a specific night and therefore you will still need to show up early. The show starts at 8PM, but the line up starts way before that. Even at 7, it'll be busy. Therefore, it is HIGHLY recommended that you have a cell phone for this event to make meeting up easier. I will be in line at 7 and wearing my yellow EOC Coordinator hat, so please try and find me or call/text me. Note that the shows do run rain or shine under the Hawrelak Amphitheatre (since the ampitheatre has a roof, we'll stay mostly dry even if it rains). Please contact me by email if you have any questions about the show, tickets, location, etc.
