Transportation to this event is included in the event cost and pick-up/drop-off is available from three points. Please specify when you sign-up where you would like to be picked up!
- Capilano Transit Centre at 7:40 AM (98 Avenue, 57 Street)
- University Transit Centre at 8:00 AM (88 Avenue, 112 Street)
- Westmount Transit Centre at 8:15 AM (112 Avenue, 135 Street)

We will drive to Jasper, stopping in Edson for a meal and to get any last minute supplies. Before reaching the Jasper townsite, we'll turn down Celestine Lake Road to get to the trailhead, put on our packs and start making our way up to Celestine Lake.

After we get to camp at 6.8 km, we can hang up our packs and do an optional 5 km hike to the Devona Lookout.

We'll spend the night at the lake, hike back to the trailhead in the morning and drive back to Edmonton.

NOTES:
-This is early season! It will be muddy and/or slushy, it may snow, and it will be below freezing at night! You should have a sleeping bag rated for at least -7. You should have sufficient insulation layers to be able to sit at camp comfortably in freezing temperatures. Your boots should also be waterproof.
- You should be fit enough to carry a heavy backpack for that distance/elevation.
- Payment is due immediately upon registration. You will be moved off the event if you do not send the payment
- This is a first-paid, first-get-on event. If you didn't pay and someone on the waitlist did, they will get on before you do even if you are on the main registration list.
- Refunds after the cut off are not possible unless a suitable replacement can be found.
- If sharing a tent please add to notes when you register.
- Missing a tent, sleeping bag, pad or other gear? Equipment rentals are available at MEC!

Note:
- Cheques will have to reach me before the cut-off date otherwise others on the waitlist will be moved on.
- Refunds after the cut off is not possible unless a replacement can be found for you.
- Do not send money to the club.

WAITLISTERS
This is a first paid first get on event. If you want to get on, send me your payment first and when someone on the main list does not make the payment on time you'll get to be moved up first. Any overbooking will be fully refunded.

The event cost is the sum of my out of pocket expenses, which are van rental [$29.50 per person], gas [$15.25 per person], wilderness pass [$9.80 per person], wilderness pass reservation fee [$1.95 per person] and Paypal/Bank fee [$2.00 per person]). I am volunteering as the driver and offering my park entry pass to share with the group.
