Itinerary:
We will meet at the Terwilliger off-leash area parking lot, and hike from there down the river valley trails to the Anthony Henday Bridge and back.

The trails might be packed down and icy or snow- covered and drifted in. Please be prepared for whatever kind of conditions we might encounter. It might be advisable to bring cleats in addition to snowshoes.

Note that this event will be cancelled if temperatures in the morning are below -22C. Check your emails on the morning of the event for changes or cancellations.


Required Items to Bring:
Snowshoes, water, snacks. Clothing appropriate for the weather - dress in layers.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Hiking poles, snacks and water for your dog (if bringing one).

Notes:
If you are bringing a guest, please make sure you go to the 'Waivers' section of the EOC website and print out a copy of the waiver for your guest to sign. Bring it with you to the event.
