Write Up:

Hi everyone, it was an excellent ride today! We had 5 new people to EOC join us today, congratulations! The weather was nice although last nights rain made for a few slippery sections. Nobody was hurt, but someone whipped out twice :-). I find that semi-slick tires can be a little sketchy in wet conditions although offer low rolling resistance.

Someone had mechanical trouble with their bike but fortunately there was a bike store close to Kinsmen. It was a good save. Thanks everyone for being patient.

We started out at Kinsmen and headed for Hawrelak. Then we crossed over to the other side and explored Laurier Park a bit, there were lots of cute dogs. The boardwalk in McKenzie Ravine was still being rebuilt and McKinnon Ravine was too slippery to bike today. We'll have to explore there areas again another day. It was an enjoyable ride anyway.

Afterwards, we had brunch at Sugar Bowl. They were unfortunately out of cinnamon buns but the Huevos Rancheros was the best!

Thanks everyone for coming and see you again next time.
