Although the rain trimmed the group from 13 to 6 the walkabout was great. Nikole managed to keep her white runners white. Well done Nikole. We walked from Emily Murphy to Hawrelak along the horse trail then across the foot bridge then came back on the other side of the North Saskachewan River. The trail detours up out of the valley for awhile where the fortunate few live. Beautiful view of the river valley. Just off Summit Drive we got back into the valley at McKinnon Ravine. We returned to Emily Murphy over the Groat River Bridge. It took around 1 hour 45 minutes. Hope to see you next week where we will explore a new section of the valley on foot.
