As expected, the light rain turned into a hard rain about 1 minute after we started our bike ride. The rain continued until we reached the groat bridge. After a 5 minute wait the rain stopped, but between being soaked and the cool wind we were all very cold. Some of us turned back shortly and the rest pushed on for about another 45 minutes before it sunk in just how cold we were. I for one had a good ride. The rain would have been less of an issue if it had been 5-10 degrees warmer though.
