Write Up:
There was a bite to the air today, and I was disappointed that the hut was locked (except for the bathrooms) which put a bit of a cramp in the "party" part of today's event.

But, six hearty EOCers perservered and we skated for a bit, then had a "tailgate party" to enjoy some hot chocolate a'la Brent. After hot chocolate, we put on the snow shoes and bushwhacked over to the golf course. Climbed the big hill where we rediscovered the wind, and returned back down to bushwhack our way back to our cars.

We finished off the event with a trip to Tim Horton's for coffee and snacks.

Thanks to everyone for coming out and for being gentle on the newbie coordinator.
