Hi Everyone, The weather co-operated again and made for another great urban night hike. This one in particular was definitely under the stars. After a brief pause in a clearing just to gaze at the frozen Saskatchewan River, we were fortunate enough to see a falling star speeding over the tree line until its light extinguished into the dark night sky. Seeing the trail of gases behind it was a fantastic sight indeed. I've seen them way up in the sky, but never up close and personal. Some members joked it was a meteor, but I think in the long run, we agreed it was a falling star. Truly a once in a life time experience I would say. I'm glad to have seen this with some great company from EOC. Thanks for coming out. John John
