The conditions were blustery in the evening however once the group descended into the valley and shelter of the trees the conditions felt much more pleasing. The group held a strong pace at 4.5 km/hr and covered approx 7.5 kms. The sun peaked out intermitently making it much warmer periodically. Due to the wind the trails have now dried up and are in great condition.
