Write Up:
Another fine day of skiing! Most of the group was able to ski the entire Shirley Lake loop at Elk Island Park, over about 3 hrs. The weather was crisp, but we finally had a respite from the extreme windchills that had been making going outside in Edmonton an unenjoyable experience, and it was nice to take advantage of the change in the weather. We even were treated to a couple of wildlife (bison) sitings in the park - including a couple of bison who meandered near us while we stopped for lunch.
Thanks all for coming out, and I hope to see you soon!
