Jonothan, Janie, Jenn and I attended a gathering recognizing the volunteers and employees of the ALS Society of Alberta, on behalf of the 14 of us from the EOC who participated in the Hike to Raise Funds for ALS in September. The four of us were given purple ALS bracelets, and a certificate of appreciation was given out for our group.
For those who participated in the ALS hike in September: you should know that the ALS Society is extremely appreciative of the fundraising efforts that we all participated in! They displayed a picture of our group at the gathering on a poster board, and the names of all the people participating in the hike were read out, to recognize us all.
