The Christmas Party was at a new venue this year and the Rose and Crown didn't disappoint with some seriously tasty food, and lots of it!

Everyone received a door prize, some of which were pretty awesome, including an MEC sport shirt, MEC Merino wool long johns, some Backroads Mapbooks, free ski tune ups and a day of whitewater rafting at Alpine Rafting! Coupons for booking an entire HI wilderness hostel to yourself were pretty sweet as well. Thanks to all of our sponsors for donating such great prizes!

The secret Santa gift exchange was its usual amusing good time. Prizes that got stolen a lot included wine with a bonus prize ;-), an aluminum thermos, a lantern with Bailey's chocolates inside and a book on news of the 20th century.

Most of the crew stuck around for the karaoke, and several even sang a few songs. Best singer award definitely goes to Jennifer, our country queen.
