Wed, Dec 18 2019 - Wednesday Hike with River Valley Holiday Lights (View Original Event Details)

We managed to see quite a bit of the central river valley and many holiday lights. From the Riverboat parking lot we hiked up past Pioneer Cabin into the forested areas across from Rossdale Power Plant. Highlights were the bridge views, the entire Ledge Grounds holiday lights with skating and heated sauna toilets (thankfully with a light switch) haha! Heading back down to the river valley we saw lights at Ezio Farone Park and down the stairs past the lights at Royal Glenora. After hiking on the Rossdale side back we got close-up views of the lights on buildings downtown and the Hotel MacDonald. If we had more time we could have gone up the Fun Fun Funicular to the lighted heated igloos on the Courtyard Marriott patio overlooking our entire route ;)
