Write Up:
We had another excellent moderate-paced urban hike with lots of sun.

We started out 5 minutes early from Kinsmen Park & headed west past Emily Murphy Park into William Hawreklak Park. From there we headed across the foot bridge & walked on the other side of the river. The only down side was walking through the residential streets through the construction vehicles & noise. Once we got back on the walking path again, we were happy once again! At Groat Bridge we crossed back on to the south side of the river so we could enjoy the shade from the trees.

Jennifer enjoyed picking up a couple garters snakes to check them out - I guess her new nickname is "The Snake Lady".

We were out for 2.5 hours & went approximately 11.5km in total - well done guys!

After the hike 3 of us sat on the patio at Brewsters Pub for some lunch & had to fight off the wasps! At least the trail seemed to be wasp-free!

Hope to see you all again in a couple of weeks!
