Write Up:
Thank you to those who braved the spontaneous, warm, sunny, and beautiful weather and showed up. Despite gloomy cold weather all day, the sun popped out just in time for a beautiful ride through the river valley. We left from kinsmen heading east along the south bank. After an initial wrong turn (hey I'm not perfect) we followed a mix of paved, hard packed earth and loose gravel trails up and down hills all the way to Gold Bar Park. We crossed the bridge and made our way back along the mostly paved and much flatter trails on the north side. While the pace was mild for some, it was easy for others and more intense for others (myself included). Despite the differing skill levels I think everyone had fun. If not, feel free to tell me what went wrong and what I can do better in the future.
