What an awesome weekend. The weather cooperated perfectly, a bit chilly at nights, but snuggled in our tents, no problem. And the rain came just as we got off the trail Sunday, so great. We found a secluded campsite and set up tent city at Preachers Point 2nd campsite at Abraham lake. The first hike saturday was Siffleur Falls. Nice nice hike. New though is that you cannot get to the 3rd falls. The floods last summer have washed out a large section of hillside and no easy through way to the 3rd falls, although very close. We had a nice hike, lunch, found a fossil, and enjoyed the scenery. Wandering down to the lake in the evening, then supper by a fire with good company made a wonderful day. Sunday we hiked to Crescent falls, with some bushwacking on the return trip. We left as the rain started to fall and headed for yummy lunch in Nordegg before the trip home.
