Write Up:
This ride is challenging enough, but the colder, windier weather required an attitude adjustment, and constant management of more and heavier clothing after hill climbs and before windy, chilly descents. A sticking derailleur cable at the start of the ride was no match for three 'keener mechanics' and a bottle of chain lube. The normally thrilling descent down Fox Drive was much slower with the wall of a head wind, but all in all a great late season ride, capped off with a round of hot spicy mulligatawny soup and great conversation at a local pub.
