Write Up:
Although the mighty Cracker Cats weren't so successful, we had a fun evening with good food and good company. We began with a nice barbeque of hamburgers and hotdogs (and for some lucky, sneaky ones, steak), then we moved to the grandstand to watch the game. The rain held off for us and it was a nice evening, complete with lots of flying fluff, some mosquitoes and being saved from a near-death experience by a very passionate Edmonton fan sitting near us. Although many of us were not the most knowledgeable fans, we did learn that Edmonton was wearing black, the mascot is named Crusher, and that the saying goes "We want a catcher, not a belly-scratcher". Daaaarr-ellllll....
