After a day of rainy overcast weather, I decided to forge on and face the elements. Wearing enough rain gear to survive a hurricane I loaded my bike onto my rack while hardly able to see through a torrential downpour in St. Albert. As I was driving to the event,the last participant withrew. Determined not to let Mother Nature defeat me I proceeded southward towards the meeting point, only to watch the clouds blow north, letting the warm sunshine dry the roads, paths and leave a wonderfully fresh early evening to ride in. It's too bad I ended up going alone but I'm very glad I did. Perhaps next week the weather will seem more conducive to riding.
