Write Up:
It was another fun curling evening, although unfortunately the last of the season, since the ice will be gone soon. Some people began with a lesson, and the rest played a quick game. We mixed up the returning players (we certainly cannot be called experts!) with the newbies and played some more. There were some pretty spectacular shots (right on the button!) and lots of "close ones". On both sheets, the yellow team won, but red put up a solid effort. We headed upstairs to the lounge afterward for drinks, and the largest appetizer platter I'd ever seen. All in all it was a great time! Thanks to all for coming out.
