This event was part learning, part activity and 100% fun. 17 members descended upon VIRG to learn the ropes (so to speak) of bouldering and top rope climbing. Instructors, Rae, Will and Chris did a great job giving us all the details of how to tie in with a figure eight follow through knot, how to belay with both a gris gris and an ATC device, and the difference between friction rope systems and anchor points. By the end of the night, everyone was having a great time putting what they'd learned into practice.

Don't forget, now that you've completed this course, you can do your belay check and be ready to come climbing with the EOC soon.
