This was a great second installment of the curling event. Eight beginners took the lesson while eight old pros (sort of...) played a game. After the lesson, we mixed it up and played for another hour. Everyone did very well, throwing and sweeping and skipping, with a much higher proportion of rocks in play than last time! We even figured out how to keep score properly! The best moment was when someone came onto the ice and asked me about the league, since they thought we were a league team! After our time was up, we retreated to the lounge for some drinks and good food. This was another great event - thanks to all who came out.
