Training

When the club has funds available, some of those funds may be allocated to reimbursing club volunteers for relevant training.

If you are interested in training reimbursement, please review the Coordinator Training Policy first, and then follow this procedure for applying:

  1. Send your application for reimbursement to executives@edmontonoutdoorclub.com
  2. The executive team will consider, and approve or deny, reimbursement, and notify you of their decision
  3. Enrol in, and pay for, your training
  4. To the best of your ability, meet your volunteer commitment to the club
  5. When the commitment is completed, request reimbursement from the executive team who will confirm that the commitment has been completed and approve release of the funds by the Treasurer
  6. If you are unable to completely meet your commitment, you may request partial reimbursement prior to your commitment end date. Partial reimbursement will be considered on a case-by-case basis
  7. After the commitment end date, unused reimbursement funds will be re-allocated for reimbursement to another volunteer
