Throughout the rest of the weekend, there will be opportunities to participate in many other activities, depending on the interests of the group. A number of hiking trails can be easily reached from the hostel. For Sunday, one possible hiking excursion is the Edith Cavell Meadows loop (8 km return, 400 m elevation gain). Alternatively, the shorter Path of the Glacier trail provides a close-up view of the glaciers at the foot of Mt. Edith Cavell.

Please note this is a "Wilderness" hostel. There are no showers or flush toilets. There is however heat, drinking water, propane stove, a fridge and all necessary pots, pans, dishes and utensils.
