As one of the six River Valley Connections initiatives, the East End Trails Project has added approximately 16 kilometres of trails to the river valley in east Edmonton. New asphalt and gravel trails were funded in partnership with the City of Edmonton, River Valley Alliance, the Government of Alberta and the Government of Canada.

The trails officially opened to the public in fall 2018 and are accessible year-round.

Difficulty: the walk will be at a "moderate-brisk" pace (approx. 5 km/h) for about 10 kms with minimal stops, and some single track trails with elevation.

Dogs are welcome on this hike; however they must be leashed other than in the off leash areas. If you are bringing your dog(s) please note this when you sign up for the event.
