Itinerary:

**COVID-19: You must provide proof you are fully vaccinated on my EOC events. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.**

**Please note:
- I am only going to have 8 people max including myself on this event.
- This will be a moderately paced walk of ~5km/hr.
- This event will be weather dependent, please check the EOC calendar and your email for any updates.

About this walk: ~10-11km, ~2-2.5 hours

We will head west along the north side of the River Valley through the neighbourhood of Riverdale then through the following parks: Louise McKinney Riverfront, Rossdale, Irene Parlby as far as the Walterdale Bridge where we will cross the river to the south side. We will then continue through Queen Elizabeth Park, Nellie McClung Park, and Henrietta Muir Edwards Park and cross over the newly opened Tawatinâ Bridge to return to the north side of the river back to Dawson Park.

Just to let you know that there are a few hills on this walk and will be mostly on paved paths which could be icy.

Dogs are very welcome on this event but note that these trails are on leash only and please remember to pick up after your pooch.

All activities are being offered in full compliance with current provincial and federal COVID standards. We will practice being socially distanced (6’ / 2m apart) while participating on this event (eg. step off the path briefly to let others pass).

• I have not travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days;
• I have not had close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days; and
• I have not had close contact with a symptomatic close contact of a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

Event Directions:Dawson Park parking lot is located at 10298 - 89th Street.
Take Rowland Road to 89th Street, turn NORTH and continue as far as you can to parking lot.
