Itinerary:

CALLING ALL BEGINNER SNOWSHOERS!!

Let's get out for a relaxed pace snowshoe adventure around Hawrelak Park. This event will be a great introduction for you to check out the sport before you purchase a set, already have bought a set but never used them yet, or before you tackle something harder / an out-of-town trip.

If you don't own snowshoes, you can rent them at River Valley Adventure Co, Totem Outfitters, or MEC.

**Please note:
- This will be a beginner/introduction to snowshoeing event.
- This event will be weather dependent, please check the EOC calendar and your email for any updates.
- To find me, I’ll be wearing a royal blue baseball cap and stood next to a blue Hyundai.

About this snowshoe: We can snowshoe around the park for as long as you feel comfortable looping around the lake as well as the park making our own tracks too.

Also we can check out the new Community League Plaza which features a fireplace, overhead heaters, benches and picnic table seating and public art, all set in one of the city's most picturesque green spaces.
