Cooking Lake / Blackfoot info

We will head there for up to 4 hours or so of exploring! This is the same staging area where the Canadian Birkie Ski Festival starts from (in February), and we hope to bike around the course.
The Blackfoot Lake trailhead is accessed off Hwy 16 (Yellowhead Highway), and is located a short distance to the east of the Ukranian Village turnoff - it is clearly signposted.
Journey time from Edmonton is approx 45 minutes each way.

We are meeting at the Blackfoot Lake trailhead at 9:45 am.

Bring sufficient water/snacks, and suitable clothing/footwear for anything the weather might throw at us! (including waterproofs...)
