Let's get outside, enjoy the fall sunshine and burn off some of the weekend's indulgences!
Meet in the parking lot at Fort Edmonton Park at 1:15 PM for a 1:30 PM departure. Meet at the eastern part of the parking lot, furthest away from the John Janzen Nature Centre, closer to the Quesnell bridge.
We will head West on trails past Fort Edmonton, then cross the Fort Edmonton suspension footbridge to the north side of the river. We will then hike the trails towards Terwillegar Footbridge.
Dogs are welcome on this hike, however they must be leashed because there is no off-leash area where we are going. If you are bringing your dog(s) please note this when you sign up for the event. Please note - if you use a retractable leash I will ask you to keep it short and locked for the safety and comfort of fellow hikers. At the meeting place Deb will have a bright royal blue Edmonton Outdoor Club baseball cap hanging on the antenna of her Jeep.
