Itinerary:
Trek the Trails with the Edmonton Outdoor Club during the River Valley Revenge Trail Race as a sanctioned hiking spectator. This hike will offer a trail trek from Race HQ through the trails to nearby landmarks and vistas like the Fort Edmonton Footbridge, continue on past John Janzen on single track trails. We will go through the Oleskiw community trellis bridge by Race HQ where racers will run underneath it, wide paved path through Oleskiw that will see runners weaving in and out of single-track, Wolf Willow Stairs lookout that looks down on single-track where racers will be on Patricia Connector or Purgatory trail, and Fort Edmonton bridge that racers will run by on either side. There's a shack in the woods across the Fort bridge that a trail group might enjoy exploring - most people don't even realize it's there. This will be an opportunity for hike participants to get a glimpse of some of the course without signing up for the treachery.
Click here for more details and Fathers Day Picnic time afterward if you want to attend.

After our exploring, we will cross the river again, and return to the meeting place via the upper trail from the Fort Edmonton suspension foot bridge.

Dogs are welcome on this hike, however they must be *leashed because there is no off-leash area where we are going. If you are bringing your dog(s) please note this when you sign up for the event.
