Itinerary:
*NOTE: We start walking clock-wise around the lake at 7:00 PM. So if you're late, you'll have to find us on the walk around the lake (try going counter clock-wise to meet up with us). This hike will have a brisk pace. Also, dogs must be on leash.

We will meet at the Castledowns Brewster's parking lot (more room in the main lot), walk around the lake a couple times to get in some good weekday night exercise, and work up an appetite for a few appetizers at the nearby Brewsters.

Although largely artificial, Lake Beaumaris is the largest lake within the city limits of Edmonton. The trail around the lake offers great paved path for year round walking with lighting all the way around the lake. For a challenge we will take a detour and hike up "Little Mountain" in Beaumaris Park for our scenic view of North Edmonton and Downtown in the distance.

.
**Please be aware with wintery weather, the trail could be slippery in some sections.Ice cleats that go over your boots are recommended. These can be found at Mountain Equipment Coop, or other sporting stores.
You could encounter muddy, snowy conditions, etc – dress accordingly.
