NOTE: event is dependent on snow conditions. If there is not
enough snow the event will be rescheduled and regular
registration posting and process will follow. . Due to this being very popular we are adding a second sessions at 11:45 am. It be the exact same format. We will take the next on the waiting list up to 10 people. Snowshoe fun everyone, so come out and try this easy and relaxing sport. We will meet inside at the Alfred Savage Centre at 9:30 am. This is a beginner event which will include a short overview on equipment and basic skills for snowshoeing. We will also show you a few types of snowshoes on the market for information and then hit the trail. I will have snowshoes available to borrow if you don't own a pair so folks can try out the sport without having to rent them for this first try. Please add your size request in the notes section so I know what participants need. Small (under 150 lbs) Med (up to 200 lbs) or Large (up to 250 lbs) so I can ensure you have the right size. There are trails winding through the entire park. Some trails are packed and others will hopefully have lots of fluffy wonderful snow to explore. Parts of the Snowshoe may require some light elevation changes. To find me, I will have on a Blue EOC Baseball hat in side the centre. | |||||||
