Itinerary:
Discover The Valley! Tawatinaw Valley is one of the best lowland ski areas in Alberta. Only 1 hour north of Edmonton, in the historic Landing Trail, Tawatinaw Valley spreads over 140 acres and boasts some of the most spectacular runs and views outside the Rocky Mountains. Twenty-four well-groomed runs featuring gullies, ravines, open hills and gentle slopes provide challenges for skiers of all ages and abilities. There is also 20 km of cross-country trails suitable for all skill levels. For the snowboarder they have a variety of rails, funboxes and hits. Their Superpipe is recognized as one of the best in Alberta. If you are looking for fun and excitement this winter, come out and experience Tawatinaw Valley.

- Money for rentals or your own equipment
- Cash (for food & refreshments)

Carpool Cost: The event coordinator(s) will help you to arrange a centralized carpool if you require it, but it's not guaranteed. Please DO NOT pay your driver en route. Passengers will pay the coordinator, and he/she will distribute the money to the carpool drivers. SO PLEASE BRING CASH!!! Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $55.68 (calculated at total Km * $0.29, effective Monday, April 29, 2024). This is based on $0.09/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divided by 9. This cost will be multiplied by the number of carpooled cars, and divided by the number of carpool participants.
