We will meet at 10:45am for a 10:55 start.
I will be standing by a grey Hyundai wagon and wearing a yellow EOC cap so you can recognise me.

This will be a moderate-brisk hike.

The hike will start by crossing the Buena Vista Footbridge to the west side of the river.
We will continue by heading north up as far as MacKenzie Ravine, and then do a "there and back" along the Ravine, going as far as 148 Street.
Once we're back at the River Valley, we'll then do the long-ish steady climb to Riverside Drive and walk the short distance to Ian M's favourite viewpoint in Edmonton, where we'll spend a few minutes enjoying the view.
We'll then retrace our steps to the River Valley and return to Hawlerak Park direct.

Please note the following:
1/ Event duration is estimated at 2.5 hrs approx.
2/ The hike will be at a brisk pace - approx 5km/h.
3/ There is a moderate but steady climb in MacKenzie Ravine, and more of a gradient up to Riverside Drive.
4/ Dogs are welcome on this hike, please include them when you sign up.
