Itinerary:

Meet at the parking lot by Snow Valley ski club (see directions below) at 11:00AM, for a 11:10AM departure.

I will be parked as close as possible to the ski centre building at Snow Valley.
Look for me wearing a yellow EOC cap and standing by a grey Hyundai wagon so you can recognise me.

This will be a brisk hike, and you must be able to keep up with the group. I expect we will walk around 5km/h.
There is a long steady climb to "enjoy" in the Fox Drive area, although you'll be pleased to hear that we will walk down the long set of stairs! Don't say I'm not good to you....

We will walk north through Whitemud Ravine/Park as far as Fox Drive. We will then walk up the nice forested trail between Grandview Heights and Fox Drive.
Once we are at the top of the nice forested trail (a steady climb), it will be time to reward ourselves with the great view at the top of the long set of stairs, then we'll walk down the stairs and rejoin the trail back to Snow Valley.

Please note the following:
1/ Dogs are welcome on this hike, please remember to include them when you are signing up.
2/ Dog owners must comply with all City of Edmonton bylaws.
3/ Please bring ice grips / traction devices, as the trail could be slippery in parts.
