Itinerary:
The warm season is beginning, and it's the perfect time to get on a bike and get cycling!
If you're new to cycling, or haven't been on a bike in years, then this is the event for you!
This will be a slightly more challenging ride than Route 1 as there are some minor inclines, and a bit of a down-hill.
Meet at Rundle Park Parking lot at 1pm where Andrew will give a quick bit of basic cycling instruction for about 20 minutes, and then we'll head out for a short, relatively flat and easy 3 kilometers so you can work on finding or rediscovering your cycling legs.
For those of you that find the 3km isn't quite enough, feel free to join Andrew on an event immediately follwing this one - Route 2a for more riding.

The event begins at Rundle Park in the first parking lot, and the 3km path will be loop around the park.
The pace will be a very slow 10km/hr or less so there is no excuse to say, "I can't ride that fast or that far.". This is meant to be an easy ride to get into or back into cycling without fear of over-doing it.

Andrew is not a certified cycling instructor, nor an extreme cyclist. He's only someone with a passion for cycling who is willing to take the time to help those who aren't regular cyclists get into cycling. Please don't expect to learn everything there is about cycling on this ride, but to get a basic idea of what to expect.
