Itinerary:
We will meet at Emily Murphy Park in the parking lot by groat road bridge, all the way to the west. at 6:05, and leave at 6:15PM.

We will hike east along the south bank of the river, passing the Kinsmen, Queen Elizabeth, and Rafters Landing Parks, until we reach the Cloverdale pedestrian bridge. We will cross to the north bank to Louise McKinney Park and take a short break.

We will return on the north side, crossing again at the Menzies pedestrian bridge to get back to Emily Murphy Park.

Note: While this is an urban hike, we will be walking fairly quickly; estimated speed will be around 4 km/hr. We will have a few short breaks

Good foot wear
dress accordingly
flashlight or headlamp,

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Emily Murphy Park is on the east side of Groat Road on the south side of the river. It is accessible on foot or bicycle from the University area and from Victoria Park,and can be accessed in a car from Groat Road.Dave will be in the Blue Honda Civic
