Itinerary:

Have you ever been interested in hiking a Camino? Having made plans to hike the Spanish Camino Frances from Sarria to Santiago in Spain, I was looking for a group with Camino experience and an interest in longer walks to prepare. The Edmonton Chapter of the Canadian Company of Pilgrims is that group and they have welcomed EOC participants to join them during the month of August as they walk every Saturday for 8-14 km for 2-3 hrs with a "generous coffee break" in between. We meet at the parking lot for Capilano Park at 8:20 AM for a prompt 8:30 AM departure.

This hike will be at a moderate pace for approx. 8-14km We will take a mixture of paved and unsurfaced trails.

Note that dogs are very welcome on this hike; please note City of Edmonton bylaws re on- leash/off-leash areas.

    Event Directions:Drive North on 50 ST as far as you can go from 101 Ave. Turn left into the parking lot.
