**Please note:
- This will be a moderately paced walk of ~5km/hr.
- This event will be weather dependent, please check the EOC calendar and your email for any updates.
- To find me, I’ll be wearing a royal blue baseball cap and stood next to a blue Hyundai.
About this walk: ~8km
We will head east to Hawrelak Park, cross over the
Buena Vista Footbridge then head west toward the
Valley Zoo. We will pass through Laurier Park,
cross over the Quesnell bridge then head back to
the Alfred Savage Centre.

2. Are you feeling unwell?
**RE: COVID-19 PROTOCOLS: We will
practice being socially distanced (6 feet
/ 2 meters apart) while participating on this
event and step off the trail / path briefly to
let others pass safely.
1. Create social space.
• Avoid skin-to-skin contact such as hugs,
handshakes, or high-fives - just share a friendly
wave and 'hello'.
• Blow your nose, cough, sneeze, or clear your
airway at least 2m away from others.
• Wear a mask in public places to help limit the
risk of spread to others if you will be within 2m
of people.
**The government has indicated that masks may
help. Therefore, we are leaving it to the
discretion of participants to choose whether
you'd like to wear masks.
If you have a cough or flu-like symptoms, please stay
home and consider getting yourself tested by
calling 8-1-1. The Alberta government states if
you have symptoms including fever, cough,
shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, sore
throat, or runny nose, you MUST self-isolate for
10 days after the onset of symptoms and until
your symptoms have resolved (whichever is
longer).

Directions: From Fox Drive, turn north onto Keillor Road, turn left at the "T" intersection, the centre will be on the left.
