Itinerary:

Please read all the event details below as well as the COVID-19 protocols. We will practice being socially distanced (6 feet / 2 meters apart) while participating on this event and step off the trail / path briefly to let others pass safely.

**Please note:
- This will be a moderately paced walk of ~4.5km/hr.
- This event will be weather dependent, please check the EOC calendar and your email for any updates.
- To find me, I’ll be wearing a royal blue baseball cap and stood next to a blue Hyundai.

About this walk: ~10.5km, ~2.5-3 hours
I've never hiked these trails before but come join me and we'll explore them together!

Lions Loop is a 2.3km loop and Telford Lake Multiway is a 8.2km loop and both trails feature a lake. Click HERE for some more info about the trail at Telford Lake plus HERE and HERE for a couple of maps.

Additional requirements:
1. Create social space.
• Avoid skin-to-skin contact such as hugs, handshakes, or high-fives - just share a friendly wave and 'hello'.
• Blow your nose, cough, sneeze, or clear your airway at least 2m away from others.
• Wear a mask in public places to help limit the risk of spread to others if you will be within 2m of people.
**The government has indicated that masks may help. Therefore, we are leaving it to the discretion of participants to choose whether you'd like to wear masks.

2. Are you feeling unwell?
If you have a cough or flu-like symptoms, stay home and consider getting yourself tested by calling 8-1-1. The Alberta government states if you have symptoms including fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, sore throat, or runny nose, you MUST self-isolate for 10 days after the onset of symptoms and until your symptoms have resolved (whichever is longer).

How to Get There:
Event Directions:To get to Lions Park on the north side of Telford Lake: Head south on Highway #2 then take exit 519 toward Leduc/Business Sector. Turn left onto 65th Avenue then turn right at the 3rd cross street onto 43rd Street.
