A Day at the Beach!
Come enjoy the Alberta sun on one of the nicest beaches
around! Bring your floaty toys and mattresses, beach blankets/
chairs, sand castle building materials (should we perhaps have
a contest?) and picnic lunch. There are plenty of greasy spoon/
ice cream places to eat if you can't be bothered with the picnic

Event Directions: | ![]() | Head south on #2 towards Deer Lake. Just before Deer Lake, take turnoff to Sylvan Lake and go straight west until you see the beach on your right. Watch out for 2 hr limit parking - see map for public parking locations. No dogs at all are allowed on the beach. | ![]() | ||||

Passengers will pay the coordinator, and he/she will distribute the money to the carpool drivers. SO PLEASE BRING CASH!!! Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $42.92 (calculated at total Km * $0.29, effective Wednesday, June 25, 2025). This is based on $0.09/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divided by 9. This cost will be multiplied by the number of carpooled cars, and divided by the number of carpool participants. | |||||
