Itinerary:

This will be a relatively short hike to start the weekend!

We will meet at 6:00pm, for a 6:15pm departure

Meet at the parking lot at the NW end of Groat Bridge - see the directions below.
We will then walk west along the MacKinnon Ravine trail, as far west as it goes (just short of 149 Street).
For a bit of variety, we will do a diversion off MacKinnon Ravine - Ramsey Ravine leads off to the north and continues under 102 Avenue into the Glenora area.
It is not a long detour, but it is quite a pretty ravine and worth a look.

Please bring headlamps / flashlights, in case we run out of daylight...

This is a "dog friendly" hike - ie. dogs are permitted on this one.
Dog owners - if you are bringing your dog(s), when you are registering, please include them, so that they also appear on the publicly-viewable list of attendees.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

From Westmount - south on Groat, take the right lane for River Valley Rd, turn right into the parking lot before you go under the Groat bridge.

From U of A - north on Groat, cross the bridge, exit right, right again, under the bridge then left into the parking lot.

From River Valley Rd - west under Groat bridge then left into the parking lot.

Look for the coordinator wearing the yellow EOC ball cap.
