We will meet at the Bonnie Doon parking lot at 7:00 PM and leave from there at 7:15 PM.

We will plan to arrive at the Lakeview trailhead at about 8:30 PM.

The hike will at a moderate pace with occasional stops to enjoy the scenery. The Lakeview Trail is 3.5km long.

Weather appropriate clothing
Money for carpool and park admission. Park admission is $7.80 per person.

The Lakeview trailhead can be reached by parking near the boat launch and walking over the small hill near Astotin Lake.

The event coordinator(s) will help you to arrange a centralized carpool if you require it, but it's not guaranteed. Please DO NOT pay your driver en route. Passengers will pay the coordinator, and he/she will distribute the money to the carpool drivers. SO PLEASE BRING CASH!!! Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $29.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.29, effective Friday, December 5, 2025). This is based on $0.09/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divided by 9. This cost will be multiplied by the number of carpooled cars, and divided by the number of carpool participants.

Notes:

If no one has a pass, park admission is $7.80 per person or $19.60 for a vehicle pass good for up to 7 people.
