Itinerary:
While out with my "Little Sister", I was unable to find a couple of river valley caches and thus will need some help. Bring your dogs and come help me find these tricky ones!

We will attempt to locate the "Just a Bit More Fun", "Driftwood", "Carport Characters" and finally, "Dawson Park Hoodoos", which is a real "Geo" geocache. Since I'm a geo, I can't resist this last one. Driftwood and Carport are the ones I couldn't find. Bring some exchange items if you like for the caches, including a few things as small as a lapel pin for the small one. Generally we exchange dollar store items with those in the caches, assuming we actually find them. "Dawson Park Hoodoos" cannot be logged unless you take a group shot at the hoodoos, so bring your cameras! I have a GPS so you don't need to have one. If you do have one though, feel free to load up the coordinates of these caches from the geocaching website. The more the merrier!

For those not familiar with geocaching, please visit Geocaching.com for more information. It is a worldwide hobby where people hide boxes of trinkets and post their GPS coordinates for others to find. It's treasure hunting by GPS!

The hike is mostly gravel trails, some of which are quite steep. Dogs can run off leash for most of the hike, but closer to the hoodoos, they will need to be on leash. Pace will be moderate.

We will meet at Capilano park in the parking lot. If anyone needs a ride, please contact me and I will try to arrange something for you. We will cross over the foot bridge and then head west. If you live on the north side and want to meet the group on the northern end of the foot bridge, just give me a call and let me know, or email me. We will go all the way to the hoodoos in Kinnard Park, and then we'll turn around and come back in order to maximize the off leash portions of the walk.
